Child & Adolescent Inpatient Programs
Our programs are designed for children and adolescents ages six to 17 dealing with mental health and behavioral disorders who need inpatient mental health treatment. Del Amo Behavioral Health System is staffed with mental health professionals including registered nurses, therapists and trained mental health counselors, creating a caring and compassionate environment.
Adult Inpatient Programs
The adult inpatient treatment program at our mental health hospital is ready to meet each patient where they are mentally and emotionally, and with compassion. Our goal is to help our patients acquire the tools they need to navigate any mental health issues they may be experiencing.
Legacy Senior Mental Health Services
Depression, anxiety, grief and changes in cognitive functioning can be challenging for older adults. The Legacy Program at Del Amo Hospital, located in Torrance, California, addresses the unique needs of senior adults (55+) that require specific elderly mental health services as they adjust with major life transitions. Unfortunately, older adults face decline in mental health as a part of aging. Our goal is to help patients improve coping skills and gain the insight and tools to help restore, maintain and enhance their quality of life. This senior behavioral health unit focuses on mental health for seniors only who are dealing with various mental health disorders.
The outpatient psychiatric programs at Del Amo Behavioral Health System, located in Greater Los Angeles, California, are designed to treat those who would benefit from treatment services within a highly structured and supervised setting, but they don’t necessarily need around-the-clock psychiatric inpatient care.
Children and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Del Amo Behavioral Health System is here to take care of your loved one and provide a child and teen outpatient program for anxiety disorders, depression and other types of mental health conditions. Located in Greater Los Angeles, California, our psychiatric facility provides a robust outpatient program for children’s outpatient behavioral health services and outpatient mental health services for teens who are in need.
Adult Partial Hospitalization Program
Patients who have completed an inpatient program are often stepped down into PHP. Here, mental health issues are addressed by teaching patients new, healthy coping skills and behaviors. This gives them the opportunity to apply these tools within their own environments as they transition back to their homes, work and social lives.
Adult Outpatient Programs
Del Amo’s Adult Psychiatric Program is ready to meet each patient where they are mentally and emotionally, and with compassion. Our goal is to help our patients acquire the tools they need to navigate any mental health issues they may be experiencing.
Trauma Intensive Outpatient Program
When a patient experiences traumatic events in the past, it’s critical to get the help needed. Del Amo Behavioral Health System’s trauma program is designed for patients who can benefit from a highly structured and supervised setting but do not require the environment of inpatient hospitalization. The intensive outpatient program for trauma is three days per week, three hours per day and is conducted via telehealth.
