Legacy Senior Mental Health Services
Depression, anxiety, grief and changes in cognitive functioning can be challenging for older adults. The Legacy Program at Del Amo Hospital, located in Torrance, California, addresses the unique needs of senior adults (55+) that require specific elderly mental health services as they adjust with major life transitions. Unfortunately, older adults face decline in mental health as a part of aging. Our goal is to help patients improve coping skills and gain the insight and tools to help restore, maintain and enhance their quality of life. This senior behavioral health unit focuses on mental health for seniors only who are dealing with various mental health disorders.

This gives them the opportunity to apply these tools within their own environments as they transition back to their homes, work and social lives.
